For Beto Santera, a scrappy young photographer clawing his way out of Rio's shadows, the only way forward is to capture the perfect shot-no matter the cost.
When Beto snaps a scandalous photo of Sergio Fontes von Imperial, the black sheep of a powerful family, apparently fleeing the murder scene of a beloved Brazilian star, his life takes a dangerous turn. In a single moment, fate tempts him to trade his negatives for access to Rio's elite, its dazzling fashion houses, exclusive nightclubs, and allure of evening seductions.

But the dazzling allure comes at a price. As bodies pile up and the killer's shadow looms closer, Beto finds himself entangled in a web of secrets and lies. His choices could cost him everything: his dreams, his morals, and perhaps his life.

Here at the nexus of high society and low, style and street, pop music and passionate crime Beto must decide-will he expose a killer and risk losing it all, or protect the lies that have finally given him a taste of the good life?
