About the author and the series

Richard Steighner, the creator of Rhythm Barnyard, has spent decades as an educator and musician. He has been to over 70 countries to teach music, bridge cultures, and encourage self expression. He created the series to help kids learn the best ways to make noise. It has proven to be helpful in developing linguistic skills, pattern making, teamwork, counting, music proficiency, and communication broadly. The educational aspects are achieved by experience--so the show Rhythm Barnyard is designed to walk the audience through the process of learning naturally.
