Regret

Bradley Jackson was sentenced to life in prison, but was released after 22 years. He's not some false conviction either, he is guilty of all the crimes he's accused of, and they are truly unspeakable. In his youth, he was brought up in a cult run by his father, now deceased, who make them commit truly horrific acts that horrified the entire country and the world over. Bradley was released because the courts say he has reformed, but has he really? Or have they only succeeded in letting a vile monster back out into the world?

Told in a fractured timeline, the story goes through important events in Bradley's life, jumping between past, present, and even future. The question remains: Can anyone really reform after the things that he has done? Is there a hope for redemption after you've already gone too far?
