"Brokenness. We do not give enough credit to its insidious nature nor the amount of damage it causes in our lives. We become masterful at beautifying tattered hearts and excusing away the visible cracks. Yet, regardless of surface appearances, if we are operating from a place of trauma then our decisions are propelled by lack and fear. From this position, we pursue the fulfillment of voids rather than presenting ourselves as empty vessels willing and ready to be used by God. When confronted with pain, if you don't walk through it you can't heal from it, so choose healing because trauma will always lead to triumph or thwarted destiny."
