Technology reigns: the horrors of the modern world are streamed to our phones and AI mass produces shallow imitations of human creativity. Our humanity becomes dissolved into algorithms, leaving creative producers seeing something: Red.
In response, twelve South Australian writers were challenged to confront these changes by writing candidly and curiously from lived human experiences. The result is the third book in the Blue Feet Anthology Series: Red, a collection of mould-breaking stories and poems that celebrate our flawed and complex natures in a way that machines cannot replicate.
Proceeds raised through the sale of Red go to Parkestone Foundation to support South Australian LGBTQIA+ projects.
Features works by Riley Blufield, Anne Brady-Clark, Chloe Cannell, Mel Clark, Dante DeBono, Daniru Jayasuriya, Victoria Knight, Lucy McPherson, Kendrea Rhodes, Stef Rozitis, Aila Sage, and Eugene Tabios.
Forewords by Amelia Walker and Patrick Flanery.
