As the quarterback for the Savannah Sharks, James Sullivan thought football would always be his first love. But now that he's raising his nine-year-old daughter by himself, he has new priorities that's taking his attention off the field.

When the team's new conditioning coach, Daisy Katrakis, points out his less-than-stellar play, she and James butt heads. He's known Daisy for years, and despite her annoying criticism, he can't deny how smart and beautiful she is.
