PUBIC LICE

Known colloquially as "crabs" and scientifically as "Pthirus pubis," pubic lice are microscopic parasitic insects that live in the hair of the pubic and vaginal regions of humans. Lice are a typical problem in the genital area, but they can also infest other areas of the body with coarse hair, including the armpits, chest, and even the eyelashes and eyebrows.
