Glover's Christian life began with a shocking encounter with an alien being-an angel of God. His meeting with this being of light, a being that he did not believe existed (until it stood before his very eyes), turned him from an alcoholic, party-loving heathen to a God-fearing Christian, literally overnight. The genesis for this book originates from an experience the author had many years ago in the desert foothills of Arizona late one night. He'd given up praying. As a young Christian in his twenties and just a few years old as a Christian, he became convinced that God did not hear him when he prayed. So, late one night after getting off work, he headed to the nearby foothills for the express purpose of attempting to communicate with the God that seemed to not hear him any more.
