Point of Impact

"I absolutely loved this book! Multidimensional characters, great writing...highly recommend." -Ryan Schow, author of The Last War series

Surviving the blast is only the beginning.

Dakota Sloane, a tough-as-nails former foster kid, has spent her life running from the past. A man haunted by secrets, Logan Garcia has only one goal: to drink himself into oblivion.

They're two strangers in a bar-until the news reports nuclear detonations in New York City and Washington, D.C. Before they can escape Miami, everything explodes. Buildings collapse and fires rage. As the fallout descends, utter chaos erupts.

Dakota knows of a place to ride out the storm: a safe house deep in the Everglades. But first, they must escape the treacherous city. Uncontrollable fires, unstable buildings, and deadly fallout contamination threaten them at every turn. And Dakota's younger sister is still trapped in the hot zone.

To save her sister, Dakota needs Logan's help, but can she trust this enigmatic stranger? And how far is she willing to go to survive?

For the radiation isn't the only threat. Dakota's past has caught up to her. Someone is hunting her through the radioactive ruins of Miami, and he won't stop until he has her..or they're both dead.
