Explore a world set in the not-too-distant year of 2041 in Perennial City, where an abundance of advanced technology exists, including holograms, quantum computers, and the greatest invention of that year, Plushables. Derived from the words "plushie" and "capable," Plushables were lifelong robotic pets designed to comfort people troubled by their daily lives or offer entertainment that their living counterparts are incapable of. As bearers of superior artificial intelligence, they have gained sentience to empathize with people and adapt quickly to ever-changing environments, making them delightful companions to own.

Follow Mattias Smith as he relishes his childhood with his newly-acquired Plushable, gradually unveiling the hidden truths behind the robotic comfort companions while growing up. Joining the Plushable Laboratories to realize his aspiration of working with Plushables, he learns firsthand of the controversies between the robotic and living pets as he uncovers the presence of a lurking organization within the city. Through the trials and tribulations of their lives, will Mattias and his Plushable be able to bring the organization to justice?
