She wasn't. And her reaching - the scroll, the rehearsal, the 3 AM glow - was the same reach Eve made in the garden. Same hunger. Different tree.

The story God told in Genesis is still being told. In your kitchen. Right now. Cain's wound is behind every refresh. Israel's hoarded manna is every peace we try to stockpile. The tree of knowledge is every screen that offers the fruit without the Giver.

But the hunger was always holy. Every anxious thought is a prayer aimed sideways. And two members of the Trinity have been interceding for you since before you opened your eyes this morning. The Father isn't waiting for your prayer to arrive. He's already responding to theirs.
