A typical definition of good parenting is parental conduct that improves a child's prospects of success, happiness, and good health. These parental actions may range from giving children access to basic necessities like food and shelter to teaching them how to build positive relationships and promoting a healthy lifestyle. Parental actions may also involve various kinds of schooling, counseling and educating kids about expectations and standards that will help them navigate society later in life, depending on the cultural context and beliefs. Understandably, what is seen to be successful parenting is often based on how parental conduct affects the child's personal development, which is, at least in part, controlled by cultural standards and is prone to change over time.A good parent tries to act in the child's best interest while making decisions.The parent's intention as well as their actions define what makes a great parent. A good parent need not be a perfect parent. Nobody is flawless. No child is flawless either, remembering this is crucial when establishing our expectations.Aiming for perfection is not necessary for successful parenting. But that doesn't mean we shouldn't make progress toward it. Set high expectations for ourselves first, then for our kids. We act as significant examples for them.Despite the fact that there is sometimes contradicting advice on how to raise a child who is self-assured, compassionate and successful, we all want to be the best parents we can be for our kids. The epidemic has made parenting more difficult in every way, requiring parents to manage challenging new tasks and nerve-wracking choices while still dealing with the common issues that arise in our day-to-day interactions with the children we adore. Focusing on balancing priorities, juggling tasks, and swiftly switching between the demands of your children, other family members, and oneself is crucial throughout the circus act of parenting. Parents don't follow any one authority. It's challenging to know who or what to believe.
