Each of the 64-pictures/photos is an authentic collectors snapshot of life as it was from 1565 through 1935. Beginning with the Timucuan Native Americans through the life and times of John D. Rockefeller, Ormond Beach, Florida history comes alive. Each picture is annotated with a caption. Historical content includes information about Nocoroco, The Live Oakers and the New Britain Colony. This photo collection was provided by the grandson of Ormond Beach founding father John Andrew Bostrom, an early post civil war settler in this undeveloped region along the east coast of Florida. Our author, Ronald L. Howell dedicated this book to J. Donald Bostrom because of his determined and successful efforts bringing our early Ormond Beach history to the forefront, during the late 1900's.
