In Meridian, you don't sell your soul. You sell your shadow.

Trapped in an eternal twilight where the sun never fully rises, the city of Meridian is a place of gaslight, fog, and silent transactions. Here, a shadow is not a trick of the light; it is a living organ containing a person's morality. The rich buy extra shadows to feed their power and corruption, while the poor sell theirs to survive, slowly fading into soulless "Hollows."

Lyra is a Silhouette Thief. Hunted by the regime, she wields a cursed pair of scissors capable of shearing a shadow from its owner without killing them. She steals from the corrupt aristocracy to patch the unraveling minds of the poor, a Robin Hood of the dark. She is quick, sharp, and dangerously shadowless.

Cian is the High Stitcher. A master of the needle, he serves the elite, sewing stolen shadows onto their bodies with thread spun from liquid night and a needle of Star-Iron. He is terrifying, precise, and carries the weight of a thousand sins stitched into the lining of his coat.

When Cian catches Lyra in the act, the game changes. He doesn't execute her. Instead, he reveals a deadly secret: a "Parasite Shadow" has attached itself to him, eating his soul from the inside out. And Lyra's scissors are the only tool sharp enough to cut it free.

Forced into a dark pact, the thief and the stitcher must work together. But as Lyra cuts into the darkness clinging to Cian, she discovers that the line between the monster and the man is as thin as the thread that binds them.

She holds the scissors. He holds the needle. Together, they will unravel the world.
