No one understands the hilarity, miracles heartbreak, and pain of a hospital emergency department quite like me. After sixteen years of working as a Registered Nurse, I have seen it all. The COVID-19 pandemic was just the chaotic experience to show me that I needed to tell this story.

I needed to tell the behind-the-scenes, firsthand nurse's perspective on working in the most 'in-the-trenches' part of healthcare and just how important intuition has become to helping me stay the course. Through my panic, anxiety, and complete exhaustion came so many lessons that needed to be shared.
