Lorena Johnstone, a jaded Major Crimes detective, finds herself in the middle of the mayhem as her new case divides the city and sparks protests.

A young sex worker is found murdered in an upscale neighborhood. Rumors fly about a serial killer. Activists demand police action against prostitution. Social workers insist on protecting the vulnerable. And the working girls just want to be left alone.
