He married, became the father of a son and was divorced. He joined the Communist Party to more quickly create change in the world. As a result, Risher was forced out of jobs, jailed, beaten, threatened with death, and run out of business. Charles Risher has more than 300 pages of files documenting how the FBI followed him all over the country. This is the story of one year of his existence as a Communist and Christian in America.
