Mind The Gap - is the product of living experience as it actually is. As such it is the revealing of a life lived more and more through the non dual understanding. It is hoped that mind the gap will help people come to understand what they really are, and what they actually experience instead of living a life based on a set of beliefs that largely go unquestioned for most of people's lives. Understanding one's true absolute nature will be life changing and help bring to an end the tyranny of living in the mind made world of mental constructs, subsequent false beliefs and the associated behaviour that this inevitably results in.
Introduction
It is highly likely that reading this book will present a challenge to most. Indeed it sets out to achieve exactly that, to challenge what we believe to be absolutely true. The book aims to add depth of clarity to what is actually experienced on a day to day, lived realm of objective experience that most people spend their entire bodily lives being ignorant of. Ignorant in this context is not meant to be disrespectful but merely to convey a sense of blindness to what actually is rather than what is believed to be. This book does not attempt to espouse a philosophy or mystical, seemingly unobtainable higher life state or realm, it merely sets out to help reveal what all people really are at their absolute essential core which is already here now.
Mind the Gap has been written to provide an immersive reading experience that in itself becomes a mediative portal through which the reader is able to shift their perspective and associated dualistic world view to a felt understanding of the unity of human true nature, namely that of consciousness, of absolute reality.
Through the following chapters;
1) Mind and the Head - Are thoughts really in the head ? - In what do they appear and what are they really made of ?
2) The Intuition of Oneness
3) Sleeping, Dreaming, Time and Space
4) Mental Prism of Agency
5) The Prism becomes a Prison - Relationship Conflict
6) Moral Code - Attitude, Choice and Benevolence
7) The Headache of Mental Interpretation - The Reality of Illusion
8) The culture of Personal Improvement- Motivational Honesty
9) The Primacy of Awareness
10) Living Non-Duality in a Dualistic Culture
11) A Word about Words
Mind the Gap draws on the use of metaphors, our innate intuition and reflective questioning to assist in the exploration and ultimately the revelation of the reality of human experience. This book is not about cognitive persuasion, that is, trying to persuade the reader that what is written is true but rather it offers a guiding hand to hold to recognise what is true within the reader. Succinctly it charts a journey of no distance to the reader's true absolute nature.
