A Message from the Author

When I was young, I tried meditation-but it never quite stuck. It wasn't until twelve years ago, when a Buddhist monk introduced me to proper practice, that everything changed. I discovered what meditation truly offers: happiness, focus, calm, mental strength, patience, kindness, and a deep, unshakeable joy.

I found myself thinking-I wish I had learned this as a child.

Today, our children face a world filled with endless screens and constant distractions. Stress, impatience, and restlessness creep in earlier than ever before. Yet here's the beautiful truth: children's minds are naturally more open, less cluttered, more ready to receive the gifts of meditation than ours.

The challenge? Meditation can seem boring to a child. Another lesson. Another thing adults want them to do.

That's why I wrote this book.

Master Eli and the Island of Miracles doesn't teach meditation as a subject-it wraps it in a magical adventure. Each meditation is woven into the story through vivid metaphors that children can understand, remember, and most importantly, want to practice.

Inside this journey, children will discover five carefully chosen meditations:

Gratitude - to fill their hearts with thankfulness
Mindfulness - to bring them fully into the present moment
Loving Kindness - to nurture compassion for themselves and others
Breathing - to find calm when life feels heavy
Visualization - to dream boldly and believe in their potential

These five practices were selected not just for their power, but for their practicality-tools children can use every single day for the rest of their lives.

This book is my sincere effort to share with young minds what I wish someone had shared with me.
