Imagine you're living a fairytale, your world the pinnacle of happiness and content. This was what the secluded town of Strayhold was reputable for, and rightly so - its citizens felt they were living in a dream.

But it took the yanking of just one strand of the underpinning social hierarchy for everything to unravel. This sanctuary quickly became a playpen for the occult.

Drake's inner nerd becomes exhilarated as he sees the townsfolk around him awaken with superpowers, a sight he had secretly been yearning for ever since he was a kid. Flight, pyrokinesis, immortality; everything he's ever fantasised about is right in front of him. His excitement doesn't last long though, as one by one those townsfolk begin to lose control of their newly found abilities. He can only watch in terror as they drop from the sky or combust into flames, a wave of anarchy crippling his home.

Trying to stay alive, Drake must navigate the carnage as new groups form to fulfil their own agendas. Should he support restoring Strayhold and slay the demon who brought in this chaos, or attempt to turn a nightmare into something that could benefit all of humankind?
