Lagneb was the LoadMaster of the Hettik freighter Bright Nest. A ship's officer, with full shares, with aspirations of being a ShipMaster himself someday. But Lagneb has a problem. There's an enormous alien stowaway in his cargo bay. An alien so large, that if it moves suddenly, and without care, it could actually destabilize the Bright Nest, making the whole ship bankrupt, if not actually severely damaging it or destroying it, if the alien does not cooperate and behave itself.
And that was only the beginning of Lagneb and Bright Nest's troubles.
"Load Kitty" is a "harder" fast-reading Science Fiction novella in the: "What if Humans are Space Orcs?" sub-genera, as told from an alien perspective.
