Level C

Level C of the Cadenza Piano Method provides a thorough and in-depth guide to reading music notation on the staff, starting with middle C and expanding to all the lines and spaces of both staves. A combination of repetition, intervallic reading, and mnemonic devices help students internalize the placement of notes on the staff and how it relates to the keyboard. D major, E major, A major, C minor, G minor, and F minor pentascales and triads are introduced, as well as reading sharps and flats on the staff. Unlike other methods, there are no fixed hand positions, so many different tonalities are experienced.
