Le Lectionnaire dominical

C'est dans la liturgie que l'Écriture est le plus chez elle. En effet, dans la proclamation liturgique, l'Écriture devient pleinement ce qu'elle est : la parole de Dieu vivante, présente et agissante parmi nous. La proclamation liturgique insuffle la vie dans les ossements desséchés des mots anciens écrits, les éveillant pour qu'ils deviennent, dans le monde, la présence transformatrice et nourrissante du Christ ressuscité. Bien que l'" Ordo Lectionum Missae " révisé –; titre latin officiel du " Lectionnaire de la messe " –; fasse partie intégrante de la liturgie catholique depuis sa promulgation en 1969, son histoire, son but et sa structure demeurent néanmoins peu connus. Cet ouvrage examine donc certains aspects du lectionnaire dominical : l'histoire de sa réforme récente, les principes qui ont guidé le choix et la répartition des lectures, et les schémas par lesquels il structure et donne forme aux temps de l'année liturgique. Il permet une appréciation plus profonde du lectionnaire et, par lui, de la liturgie. -- It is in liturgy that the Scriptures are most at home. Although the revised Ordo Lectionum Missae - the Latin term for what is commonly called the Roman Lectionary - has been an integral part of Catholic liturgy since its promulgation in 1969, its history, aims and structure remain little known. This book examines certain aspects of the dominical lectionary: the history of its recent reform, the principles that guided the selection and organisation of the readings, and how it structures and gives meaning to the different times of the liturgical year. Readers will acquire a deeper appreciation of the lectionary and, through it, of liturgy.
