Kit Callahan

When seventeen-year-old Kit Callahan is pulled from boarding school to identify his estranged father's body, he discovers a cassette containing clues to his father's murder. Thrust into a lethal game of cat-and-mouse, he must decipher his father's final tape before a secret syndicate hunts him down.

Kit Callahan has just been told his father is dead. Considering the man abandoned him at boarding school ten years ago, Kit thought he had already made peace with losing him. Then he finds his missing Walkman clipped to the body. There's a cassette inside. The song is familiar. What happens when he presses rewind is anything but.

Pulled into the past, Kit discovers that his father was no ordinary man, but a spymaster whose secret work has placed their entire family in danger.

Now, with a mysterious organisation hunting him and a trail of clues stretching across time, Kit must uncover the truth behind his father's murder, his mother's disappearance and the extraordinary device he has somehow inherited.

Armed with a cobalt-blue raincoat, a questionable sense of self-preservation and a Walkman that really ought to have come with instructions, Kit is about to discover that the past holds far more than memories, and changing it might be the most dangerous thing he ever does.
