A cocky lifeguard tries to solve serial murders like he's the hero of an action movie, but reality keeps punching him in the face.

Marshall Murdock is the self-proclaimed King of the Lifeguards at Kasper Bay. In his mind he's the ultimate hero. In reality he's a delusional beach bum with a patch of authority on his uniform. He has confidence of steel, but the brains to get himself into dire situations.

When two brutal killers begin stalking the nightlife of Kasper Bay, Marshall decides it's up to him to stop them. One is a strangler targeting women in crowded nightclubs. The other is the Bay Butcher, a silent monster who moves through the darkness with a knife and a mask.

While the police struggle to keep up, Marshall launches his own investigation with a ragtag group of volunteers and a plan that may be even more dangerous than the killers themselves.

Unfortunately for Marshall, Kasper Bay isn't the action movie he thinks he's starring in.

It's a hunting ground.

And the killers are getting closer.
