In the Pool is one of 8 storybooks written and illustrated by leading children's author Jan Ormerod for the Key Skills (High Frequency Words) strand of Cambridge Reading. The language is simple with lots of repetition of high frequency words – ideal for young readers in the Foundation stage (aged 4).
