ICT Functional Skills Level 2

The ICT Functional Skills Level 2 book is designed to help learners build a strong foundation in using Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for work and personal use. This book is divided into 7 easy tutorial lessons, covering the fundamentals of ICT, Excel Spreadsheet, Spreadsheet IF Functions, PowerPoint Presentation, Access Database, and Word Mail Merge.

In the first lesson, learners will be introduced to the basic concepts of ICT, including hardware, software, and file management. The second lesson will focus on Excel Spreadsheet, where learners will learn how to create and format spreadsheets, perform calculations, and use basic functions. In the third and fifth lessons, learners will explore advanced spreadsheet functions such as IF functions.

The fourth lesson will introduce learners to PowerPoint Presentation, where they will learn how to create professional presentations, add multimedia, and use animations and transitions. The sixth lesson will focus on Access Database, where learners will learn how to design, create, query databases as well as generate forms and reports.

In the seventh lesson, learners will be introduced to Word Mail Merge, where they will learn how to create letters, and merging fields for labels, and envelopes using data from a notepad, spreadsheet or database. Finally, each of the seven lessons are scenario-based and would support learners to apply all the skills they have learned throughout the book and put them into practice when completing a comprehensive project such as the ICT functional skills exams.
