In The Bridge Builder, Korrak continues his dangerous attempt to create peace between the Horde and the Alliance. Acting as both translator and mediator, he helps open secret communication between Orc war-leader Gor'thak and human captain Aldric Veyne.
Through honest letters, careful diplomacy, and small acts of mercy, Korrak proposes a neutral zone at Greyfen Post where soldiers and civilians can pass without violence. He also introduces a small symbol - a bridge-like sigil worn on the wrist - representing a personal vow never to kill wounded enemies.
As more warriors on both sides begin wearing the sigil, the first fragile signs of trust appear. But not everyone supports peace, and Korrak quickly learns that changing the logic of war is more dangerous than fighting within it.
The novel explores themes of honesty, reconciliation, and the slow, painful work of building peace in a world shaped by generations of hatred.
