I Identify

Children identify themselves with many different strengths according to their different social circles. We can't be good at everything. Yet, being good at something, whether it be a sport or kindness or generosity or humour can help children find where they belong, and help them become confident in themselves.

I Identify is a book written to show all the ways children identify themselves and others in their social circles: by their strengths and talents.

Children identify themselves by many characteristics: kind, fast, brave, funny, musical, stylish, creative... and they recognize those same strengths and

talents in their friends and peers. This is a book written in love, for the love of children. To remind them and ourselves to focus on the positive that

we see in them. That they are perfectly made on purpose for a purpose.

It is always important to focus on a child's strengths. I hope that children will see themselves in at least one character in this book, and will also be able to point out other children that they recognize for the strengths they possess!
