Qualities to look for in a potential spouse include excellent communication skills, loyalty, and shared values. But when you marry well, you will find a spouse who will acknowledge their sins. Seek change, grow, and so on. In the 21st century, it takes wisdom to marry well. Some time ago, I asked my husband, "What are the values you saw in me that made you decide to marry me?" I saw a parenting partner, I saw the signs, I saw a woman of values, a woman who knows her what, I saw the connection between us, I saw how available both of us are, I saw a woman who's ready to learn, I saw a woman who's ready to acknowledge, I saw the communication skills, I saw loyalty in you, and above all, I saw a woman who loves me for better or for worse. And I said to myself, "I will not allow this beautiful lady to go from my hand," so I said to myself, "This is the one my heart beat for." Oh, my goodness, I was like, all things for me. Thank you so much, sir.
Also, have a purpose ready before looking for a life partner. Don't just marry any woman you see; take your time. Understand their purpose. Have a principal as a young lady; don't make yourself available to every man. Know what you want in a man; marrying well is not about marrying into a wealthy home or one of high status or class; it is about getting it right.

My father told me a story some time ago. He said some years ago he was sitting on a chair in the village square. There was a very small gathering back then. A gentleman sitting there became friendly with him. He told him that he was a professor at one of the universities around town and that he had decided never to get married and do social service instead. This continued for 15 years. But one day, according to him, he had a severe headache, and no one was near. He felt that if he had a wife, at least she would have been nearby during that physical crisis. That changed his mind, and he got married. If one can manage his or her sexual and emotional needs without marriage, marriage does not seem all that necessary.
