This book provides some basic guidance to
secure your data and avoid being scammed. It is
based on my studies in Cyber Security at
Plymouth University where I obtained a FirstClass Honours Cyber Security Degree in 2021
and is also based on my experience with
computers. I have not attempted to give all the
reasons for my recommendations or academic
references, it is simply meant to provide a few
simple steps to improve your security. I have
looked at the psychological nature of hacking,
ways to keep your computer safe, how to make
a strong password, and other issues like AI and
cryptocurrency. The final chapter gives ten
simple steps you can implement. Please note
this is a short book with only about 3000 words,
however, I believe it contains the essential
information you need to secure the data of the
average user.
