How Prophets Hide Their Pain

The prophetic life is often defined by what is seen and heard, yet it is sustained by what remains hidden, and this hidden dimension is where the majority of the process takes place. It is here that the prophet learns how to carry what cannot yet be spoken, how to remain aligned when understanding is limited, and how to navigate the tension between clarity and confusion without losing stability.

Many enter into the prophetic with an expectation that clarity will eliminate struggle, that sensitivity will produce ease, and that alignment with God will create a life free from internal conflict.
