Home for Christmas

There is room for you here. Christmas can stir beautiful memories as well as bring grief, loneliness, or the ache of changing traditions. Wherever this season finds you, the story of Jesus offers an invitation: come home to the God who has come near.

In Home for Christmas: An Advent Journey into the Heart of God, United Methodist pastor Andrew J. Suite guides you from December 1 through January 6 with daily Scripture, thoughtful reflections, honest personal stories, and simple practices that connect faith with everyday life.

Designed like an Advent calendar, this Christian devotional opens a new door each day. Journey through longing, preparation, joy, and love as you make room for Christ. Then continue beyond Christmas morning with The Twelve Rooms of Christmas, exploring prayer, hospitality, grief, work, and the light we carry into the world.
Inside you will find:

• A daily rhythm of Scripture, reflection, a question, a practical action, and prayer.
• Personal Christmas stories that invite you to remember where God has met you in your own life.
• Space for both celebration and sorrow, including changing families, empty chairs, and unexpected generosity.
• Morning and evening readings for Christmas Eve, followed by readings through Epiphany.
• A family and small-group discussion guide with daily prompts, weekly conversations, and simpler questions for children.
