HIGHER GROUND

Higher Ground is my loving testimony-an honest offering from a man still walking through trials, still learning, still trusting, and still rising. These poems were born out of pain I never asked for yet joyfully accepted because I know God uses every struggle to shape my heart, deepen my faith, and draw me closer to Him. This book is not written from a place of perfection, but from the middle of the journey, where faith is tested, family is cherished, and hope is fought for one day at a time.
I wrote these poems during some of the hardest seasons of my life. Physical pain, emotional valleys, family distance, unanswered prayers, and moments where I felt alone-yet through it all, God kept lifting me, teaching me, and reminding me that even in suffering, there is purpose. These pages reflect the truth of my walk: painful, yes... but joyfully accepted, because I know Who walks beside me.

I don't claim to have all the answers. I am simply sharing the truth of my walk-my gratitude, my struggles, my victories, and the quiet moments where God whispered strength into my spirit. Higher Ground is my offering to anyone who needs a reminder that they are not alone, that their pain has purpose, and that God can lift them higher than they ever imagined.
