What could be so important about a space rock that fell to Earth in 1751? When exiled scientist Sevag Sorukian takes an interest in the answer, so do his allies and foes.

Sorukian, one of the most brilliant and diabolical minds in human history, has enlisted the help of longtime Department 321 agent, Moloch, to find and acquire the cosmic material. Once their peculiar undertaking is discovered, former bartender and Marine, Bobby Boyle means to bring his otherworldly gifts to bear against them.

Their game of cat-and-mouse reaches far and wide, from Sorukian's coastal Carolina lair to Antarctica, into the infernal realm of the damned, and back to the distant past, when the United States was in its infancy.
