My name is Nicolette Bell, and I spend more time with microscopes than men. I've got the doctorate degrees, the lab coat, and the resume that all scream "boss babe scientist."

But what I don't have is a love life. I've only dated other scientists in the past, and let's just say my Bunsen burner is not being properly lit.

I hate my current job at a large cosmetics company in New York, so when I make the move to Houston, Texas, to work at Hale Cosmetics, I make a solemn vow to myself: Absolutely no more science nerds in my bed.

Until we begin this crazy fake dating scheme for a wedding and have to share a room. And let me tell you, the things this man is hiding beneath those starched clothes and suspenders would have any woman doing a triple take.

I swear, Helix Hale is like Superman in a lab coat.
