Guided Paths

Rieka's an adopted prodigy that has been dragged around the country her whole life by her parents' demanding careers. Just after their retirement, an accident robs her of them before she is an adult. No matter how hard she tries to move on and finish school like a normal kid, she finds herself plagued with her misery in this new town. Rieka is guided towards a future that was never explained to her, for a role she never wanted. In the midst of despair, she finally sees the strength that everyone has always known she has and she uses it to navigate the unusual situations they find themselves in as she breaks the norms of their society and forges her own path, using the guiding hands that support her. Her power attracts many types of attention and it's up to her to decide what she will allow and who will be punished.
