Kael's days are filled with solitude and routine, sheltered in the only home he's ever known. But when tragedy strikes and everything familiar is destroyed, Kael is forced to leave his sanctuary behind. Haunted by aching loneliness, more than anything he longs for someone, anyone, to exist with.

Desperate for answers but even more desperate for connection, Kael embarks into the ruined world. In the overgrown remains of a desolate city he stumbles upon a dormant war mech. Ancient, battered, and just as lost as he is. Two remnants of a war that destroyed both man and machine, bound by need and curiosity, set out together across a landscape stripped of life, searching for meaning, companionship, and a sense of belonging.
