Got Insecurity after I have earned three degrees? Yes

Got Insecurity even though I've written over 40 books on personal, professional, and spiritual growth? Afraid so.

Got Insecurity even though I partnered with an international publisher who has touched almost every corner of the world? Hard to believe, but yes.

Got Insecurity even when I've seen the Lord do so much in my life in the span of almost 70 years? Sad to say, yes.

Got Insecurity even though I know what the Bible teaches? Embarrassingly so.

This is the big issue that I had to face: It's not WHAT I know and WHAT I have experienced; it's WHAT I DO with WHAT I KNOW.

It was over breakfast a few months ago that my friend Ron and I were sharing and our insecurities came up. Both of us have walked with Jesus for many years, but we still confessed to each other some of our own insecurities. Shortly after, I had to write about it.

This devotional was born out of my own seasons of uncertainty and self-doubt. In those moments, God met me not with condemnation but with reassurance. Each page reflects a truth He taught me along the way-that our insecurities become stepping stones when surrendered to His love.
