This book is written as an outline for a spiritual path for heterosexual men. In was in part inspired by Jeffrey Kripal's 'Heroic Heretical Heterosexuality'. Kripal's main thesis is that in many mainstream monotheistic traditions, especially those involving a celibate male priesthood, there is a sublimated homoerotic relationship existing between the human and the divine. As an alternative to these relationships, Kripal points out there are other paths such as found in the Indian tantric traditions, whereby the male practitioner can establish an erotic relationship with a female divinity. But since these traditions are not mainstream, they are considered heretical to the orthodox homoerotic religions. It is not my goal here to provide support or argue against Kripal's thesis. My aim is more practical. I would like to offer a potential spiritual path for heterosexual men centered on devotion to Goddess.
