GEOGRAPHICAL INDICATIONS IN BANGLADESH

Geographical indications (GIs) protect the unique identity and reputation of products associated with a particular geographical region. For Bangladesh, with its rich tradition of agricultural products, handicrafts, textiles, and cultural heritage, effective GI protection has significant legal, economic, and social importance.
