Like the river flowing from Eden, Genesis gives rise to the headwaters of every rich stream of revelation which flows, gathering breadth and pace, throughout Scripture's unfolding story; it is foundational for our theology of, literally, everything. We will not fully understand the great doctrines of the Christian gospel unless we begin here, learning and teaching the beginning of the gospel at source.
