FULFILLING PURPOSE

Purpose is the reason for which something exists or was created. It is a person's sense of resolve or determination, and the reason for an action. In the school of emotional intelligence, purpose is also referred to as life. Purpose, answers the question, "what is the meaning of life?", and it pertains to the significance of existence or living.

Your life purpose is what you to take with you from this life - Experiences, gains and reward. Discovering this creates a lifetime fitted with meaning, joy, clarity and centeredness. Finding your life purpose starts with discovering what captivates your heart. It is important to please note that there is a difference between life purpose and life calling. If I do not know my life purpose, a lot of the major life decisions I make will be like guesses in a multiple choice test which will get me into trouble.
Your life purpose is the reason of your existence. While your life calling focuses on what you will do and become, your life purpose speaks on what you will take from this life. What you came to the world to experience, learn and understand. The gains inclusive.
You may want to ask why you need a life a purpose. The reason is that it is easy to lose your way or get lost in modern life. You can fall asleep at the wheel of life as life gets consumed with mundane details. Joy and meaning can start to evaporate when life starts to get harder. But having a clear idea of your life purpose keeps you motivated, focused and able to tap into a pool of energy when you need to face challenges, because you understand the ''why'' behind the events of your life.

Once you know your purpose for living, it takes the guess work out of the equation and you start making important life decisions. Combined with life calling and area of mastery, you can know what you are supposed to be doing with your life instead of guessing. This will save you a lot of money, headaches, heartaches and time.

Every achievement in life begins with the discovery of God's original purpose for one's life, without which no pursuit can ultimately bring achievement in the long run.
There is no race in life that is not designed to run on a designated track; early discovery of that track makes the task very easy for the participant but when it appears to be discovered late or not being discovered at all, time is wasted, energy is channeled in the wrong direction and success in life becomes a burden.
When purpose is convincingly discovered and explicitly understood, the will power to pursue it to fulfillment is stirred up by the Spirit of God at work on the inside of man.
No man can pursue any course of action without positive disposition towards it, which ultimately strengthens the zeal to achieve it without wavering.
