Forever Dies

"My name is Flendin the Blade and this is the end of my tale

"I am wounded by the loss of dear friends yet unable to engage with those that stay close to me

"Bent remains unconscious and Smidgen seems deeply and irrevocably changed since his resurrection

"The Bag I was charged to protect now talks, sings, gurgles, spits and curses. It is determined, like most things, to bring me down; a constant reminder that my life can never be the same again

"Esa was taken and I am a man obsessed, driven to find my pregnant woman though I am convinced she is lost to a world of pain

"Desperately I look for signs that she still lives, hoping for any hint of her but as the trail goes cold so does my heart and I sink further into hopelessness

"I feel so alone, finding no comfort in a land growing more hostile with every step I take

"And then there are the two witches I know I lack the skills and the courage to defeat

"In the face of such dread opposition I cannot foresee my group of disparate Turned and thieves lasting much longer

"As the world closes in fast to finish me off, only one thing seems certain: in the end nothing lasts forever and everything dies.
