An infamous Captain's life is disrupted when he rescues Fluffy, a curious child with suspect ancestry and the incredible ability to catch and create things out of lights. Captain, now a reluctant guardian, brings her along with him, traveling through the cosmos, successfully dodging former irate colleagues, angry asteroids, and Fluffy's never-ending questions. Captain finds that Fluffy is no ordinary lightcatcher, but someone who can see color in sound and is also able to trap that color into the light she catches. When old foes and vengeful former colleagues from Great Cabbage Corporation come looking for Captain and find Fluffy instead, she has to find her way out of the deadly confrontation. This first installment of the series, Fluffy The Lightcatcher sets off a chain of events out of Fluffy's control that propels her on a path of a legendary adventure.
