Permutations of fear are in every thought. It cannot be expelled from them and soothing it is often an illusion. Fear is as pervasive as purpose, and purpose guides the development of ideas. Dr. Albaugh's series, entitled Epistemology, currently lists five volumes. Fear is volume number five. He is an independent philosopher, living in Des Moines with his wife, Lynda, and their animals. They have four children. He holds a Ph.D. in philosophy and taught philosophy for many years.
