Fallen Between

Danielle asked for a year apart from Felkyn, to heal, to grieve, and to find her feet in this now unfamiliar world. Even though her time in Ireland isn't all she'd hoped, she's been through worse, and she'd rather keep her head down and endure than have Felkyn pull her out of the fire.

Felkyn's world has dimmed without Danielle's presence. Feeding's lost its appeal, he feels like he's spiraling, and everything reminds him of Danielle. But the Agathati, the witches that previously gambled with Danielle's life, are determined to use her again in their mission to kill Cain. Only this time, she isn't the bait: she's the weapon.
