Beginning at the base of the Pyrenees Mountains in France, he followed the centuries-old footsteps of pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago-the Way of Saint James. After reaching the Cathedral in Santiago, he continued on to the "end of the world," Finisterre and Muxía, before returning to Santiago on day forty.
What began as a solo retreat became a faith journey, as he met strangers who offered help and fellow pilgrims who became companions along the way.
