Leyonie is a SURVIVOR of multiple sexual assaults. She is the founder & visionary of SISTERHOOD & LEADING LADIES - organisations focussed on educating and empowering women to reach their full potential and living fulfilled lives.

Leyonie is also a passionate and sought after speaker with a unique ability to lead conversations around topics such as Gender Based Violence, Emotional & Mental Wholeness and Dignity & Self-worth. As a workshop facilitator and seasoned keynote presenter, Leyonie never misses an opportunity to connect with people on a personal and deep level in order to help them get onto a path of personal wholeness.

Leyonie is happily married to Hugh and they have 4 children. They live in Johannesburg, South Africa.
