After explaining the cause and evils of polarization and globalization, the book proposes two simple and practical solutions. Allowing transactional taxes to depend on the distance between the source and destination can promote a gloconomy, an economy that is neither too localized nor too globalized. The proposed solutions are not the best or the only possible solutions to the problems, but they are definitely worth considering.
